Hp Nx9420 Drivers Windows 7
DavesDrivers forums. Win7 on HP Compaq nx9420 no Graphic Card Driver found. To need a mod driver even on windows 7 for the gfx card, HP are no help what so ever. Oct 02, 2009 Hi, I've tried the new Windows 7 on my laptop HPnx9420 and until now the only problem seems to be the fact that the audio is not working. The system keep telling me that the HD speakers are not connected but when i check the driver the same system tells me that everything is working fine!!
I've installed public beta (build 7000) x64 on my trusty old laptop, on a spare disk. I usually run Vista Enterprise SP1 x64 on the main hard drive. It's worked like a charm, and since I've read about Windows 7 having the same drivers as Vista, I didn't think I'd experience any problems, driver-wise. I was therefore stumped to see the Experience Index score a low 2,0 due to a slow hard disk! On Vista this same computer scores 5,2 - although that HD is a 7200 rpm drive and some what faster, 2,0 seemed extremely low. So I went to invesigate in Device Manager, and found two unknown devices; 'Mass Storage Controller' and 'PCI Simple Communications Controller'. So I suspect that the missing driver is the former - but searching Windows Update results in nothing.
Download Driver Printer Toshiba E Studio 450. Also I scoured the hp.com support pages to find Vista drivers for this, but no avail. Is there something I'm missing? Why does this problem surface on Win7 and not on Vista? Thanks in advance! Keep in mind the disk scores have been refactored for SSD technology and the W7 scores are much 'lower' for normal hard drives compared to Vista. I'm hoping post-7000 builds aren't so punishing on normal hard drives because people instantly assume their disk subsystem has something wrong with it.
Take WEI scores with a grain of salt - run actual HD benchmark programs to determine if your subsystem is running the way it is supposed to. - - If you find my post helpful, please click on the 'Post was helpful' option inside my post.
